Vikrant Massey Clarifies: “Not Retiring, Just Taking a Break”

Vikrant Massey has addressed confusion sparked by a recent social media post suggesting he would retire from acting after 2025. The actor clarified he is not retiring but merely taking a much-needed break to focus on his health and family.
“I’m not retiring… Just burned out. Need a long break. Miss home, and health is acting up,” Vikrant told News18. He added that his earlier post was misinterpreted by fans and the media.
In the now-viral post, Vikrant had written, “The last few years have been phenomenal…But as I move forward, I realise it’s time to recalibrate and go back home…coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right.”
The announcement left many in Bollywood puzzled, with some, including co-star Harshvardhan Rane, speculating it could be a PR strategy. Others expressed concern, given Vikrant's flourishing career, highlighted by his recent solo hit, 12th Fail.
Amid the buzz, Vikrant attended the screening of The Sabarmati Report alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi but refrained from addressing retirement rumors. Fans can look forward to Zero Se Restart, a feature on the making of 12th Fail, hitting theatres this month.
