Mumbai : According to sources, film critic Rajeev Masand was summoned by Mumbai Police and on Tuesday have recorded his statement with regards to alleged suicide of actor Sushanth Singh Rajput.

The police are likely to question Masand about the bitter reviews he used to give Sushanth and his movies. 

The police have recorded the statements of 35 people in the case, including his friend Rhea Chakraborty, directors Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Shekhar Kapur and last week his psychiatrist, Dr Kersi Chavda. 

Sushant Rajput's death had caused a huge uproar on social media as people called out nepotism in Bollywood.
