Kartik Aaryan, a Bollywood actor, frequently speaks about topics that are near to his heart, one of which being cancer awareness. Kartik recently attended a cancer awareness month event conducted in a Mumbai hospital. At the ceremony, Kartik stepped to the platform and shared his raw emotions regarding his mother's battle with the life-threatening disease.

Mala Tiwari, Aaryan's mother, was diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago and has since been cured. Kartik broke the pause and spoke at length about her mother's illness and how it affected him."The path has been arduous, from going to chemotherapy treatments during the shoot of these songs to now dancing on stage on the same— Her Positivity, Fortitude, and Fearlessness, on the other hand, kept us going. Today, I can proudly state that my mother fought cancer and won. And because of that, we are all stronger," Kartik Aaryan added.

The mother-son combo can be seen dancing on stage with numerous other cancer survivors in a video shared on Kartik's Instagram account. He continued by saying, "I'm really proud of you, Mummy and I pay my respects to all the individuals who didn't make it and all the people who have shown fortitude in the face of terrible cancer."
