Shah Rukh Khan's Safety Priority: Enhanced Security After Death Threats

The Mumbai Police will provide Shah Rukh Khan with Y+ security cover after the actor reported receiving death threats following the success of "Pathaan" and "Jawan."

Mr. Khan will always be accompanied by six armed security guards when operating under the Y+ security protection. The well-known actor had previously been escorted by two security guards.

The actor allegedly wrote the Maharashtra government lately and said that he was getting death threats after delivering back-to-back blockbusters. The Maharashtra government then made the decision to increase the security protection offered to the well-known actor.

Actor Salman Khan previously had Y+ security protection last year as a result of threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang.

Shah Rukh Khan has previously engaged in criminal activity in Mumbai and is known for resisting intimidation.

Recently, director Sanjay Gupta commended "Jawan" and Mr. Khan on social media, praising him for his resolve to overcome obstacles like gangster threats.

"In the 1990s, when the harassment of movie stars by the underworld peaked, Shah Rukh Khan was THE ONLY celebrity who never caved. The phrase "Goli marni hai mar do, par tumhaare liye kaam nahin karoonga" is used. Shoot me if you want, but I won't work for you because I'm a Pathan, he added. He's still the same today, Mr. Gupta had written on X.

Citizens who face a threat to their lives are given security coverage, under Maharashtra government regulation. The citizens in these situations are required to pay a charge or provide a security deposit for the protection.
