Mangaluru: According to sources, Dakshina Kannada has confirmed two new cases of COVID-19 on Monday. 

The patients are identified as mother and son from Shakthinagar. Also the area around thier residence has been sealed down as precautionary measure.

It is learnt that they were kept quarantined in First Neuro Hospital after the death of a 65-year-old lady from Bantwal who was said to be diagonsed with Corona.

The district has recorded 21 positive cases and two deaths so far.
