Mangaluru: With regards to the Corona Effect, all the fuel retail stations at Karnataka will now be working in a sinle shift from 7 am to 2 pm till the further orders from the government due to lockdown. 

This follows a decision taken by Karnataka State Federation of Petroleum Dealers as most of their staff use public means of travel to their respective work station which now has remained shut due to the city lockdown. 

It is learnt that, Uttara Kannada district administration has decided to suspend vehicle registration and driving license on people on the spot if anyone purposefully disobeys police instructions on lockdown. Deputy Commissioner Harish Kumar directed police to crack down on people doing so.

The federation have asked its retail outlet staff to carry their ID cards to help the administration in identifying and giving them clear pass to report to their work station and home later.
