Bengaluru (Karnataka): Karnataka Legislative Assembly Leader Siddaramaiah has said that a sedition case should be filed against KS Eshwarappa, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, for his alleged claim of hoisting a saffron flag at the Red Fort.
Eshwarappa recently stated that they will hoist a saffron flag at Red Fort and that the State Chief Minister should remove him from the Cabinet. After what he has said, he has no right to continue as a minister, according to the Congress leader.

Siddaramaiah mentioned the farmers' agitations, claiming that sedition charges had been filed against them for hoisting their flag at the Red Fort. He demanded that similar action be taken against Eshwarappa.
