Mangaluru: According to sources, Dakshina Kannada on Wednesday reported 20 new coronavirus cases while Udupi registered 5 cases.

The district administrator has requested all the people to maintain safety precautions, wear masks when stepping out of the house and avoid mass public gatherings. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authority.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,10,13,570 as fine in 91,193 incidents of mask violation
