The Wire plays victim card as evidences mount?

The Wire that doubled down on the recent fake news against BJP IT Cell head Mr. Amit Malviya, has now retracted the news and has filed a complaint against their own reporter calling him "mentally unstable".
A FIR now filed by BJP IT Cell head Mr. Amit Malviya against the news portal The Wire on claims raised by Mr. Malviya for cheating, phony, and distributing "counterfeit stories", against Meta, Instagram and Mr. Malviya himself.
The Wire, has claimed itself to be a victim and has filed an official complaint against one of its former reporters, Devesh Kumar, who purportedly provided the manufactured subtleties for the story. No FIR has been enrolled at this point. Mr. Malviya, in any case, had not referenced Mr. Kumar in the FIR he documented on Saturday. In it, he affirmed the association of The Wire's Establishing Editors — Siddharth Varadarajan, Sidharth Bhatia, MK Venu, Delegate Manager and Chief News Maker Jahnavi Sen, the organization that claims and distributes The Wire — Establishment for Free Reporting, and other obscure people for cheating, manufacturing archives and distributing the "counterfeit Meta stories", which in turn lead to global repercussions for India's Image as these fake news published by the Wire were also reported as the truth by many foreign media houses.
The Wire has already retracted the fake news article but this comes as a series of fake news published by The Wire during Covid-19 pandemic to also publishing a fake news article that the Govt. Of India had hacked phones of women journalists in order to intimidate them.
