Going into the World Cup, bowling attack is a big concern : Mithali Raj

After India's 63-run loss to New Zealand in the fourth Women's One-Day International on Tuesday, skipper Mithali Raj said that the team's bowling is a major issue heading into the ICC Women's World Cup. Mithali's bowling assault failed to defend 270 and 279 in the second and third games, putting India 0-4 down in the five-match series. In addition, the squad failed to chase down 276 in the first game and a massive 192 in 20 overs in the fourth.
"With the seam and spin assault, I've tried a couple different combos. Going into the World Cup, bowling attack is a concern "At the post-match awards ceremony, Mithali stated.
Mithali admitted that bowlers' lines and lengths haven't been constant throughout the tour.
"We're adjusting to the weather, the open ground, and the breeze." Our bowling periods haven't been that consistent. Mithali continued, "I was just watching at Richa's shots and she is a terrific and exciting player for India's future."
Her polar opposite Sophie Devine was pleased with yet another successful show.
"It was another outstanding performance from us." We demonstrated a positive attitude. We've been a little sluggish in shifting our strategy with the ball at times.
"For as long as I can remember, I've had faith in this group. The results of these girls' training over the last two years haven't always gone our way, but it's encouraging to see that they've improved "Devine explained.
