Mekapati Goutham Reddy, the industries minister of Andhra Pradesh, died of a heart attack on Monday morning in a private hospital in Hyderabad. He was 50 years old.
According to sources, Mr. Reddy was rushed to Apollo Hospitals after collapsing at his home, where he was declared dead.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his condolences to Mr Reddy's bereaved family members.
