Odisha Artist Creates Sand Sculpture Of Telangana's KCR On His Birthday

Puri (Odisha): Padmashri Sudarsan Pattnaik, a renowned sand artist, created a sand sculpture at Puri beach in Odisha on Thursday to commemorate Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's birthday and dubbed him a "Fighter."
Mr Pattnaik wrote in the sand art, "The Fighter, the Administrator, and the Visionary KCR Sir, happy birthday."


Vanga Rajeshwar Reddy of Siddipet coordinated this.

Mr Pattnaik created the sand art for KCR as the second Chief Minister, the first being Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

On Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, he is also credited with creating a stunning sculpture of him.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao a happy birthday and wished him good health.

According to the state government website, Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, also known as KCR, was born on February 17, 1954, in Chintamadaka, Medak District.

He is also the founder President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), which was at the forefront of the Telangana statehood movement.

He has served in the Legislative Assembly for several terms from various constituencies. In addition, he was a Member of Parliament and served as Cabinet Minister for Labour and Employment.

TRS won 63 of the 119 Assembly seats in the 2014 elections, securing the necessary number of legislators to form the government. KCR was sworn in as Telangana's first Chief Minister.

In the 2018 Assembly elections, the Chandrashekar Rao-led Telangana Rashtra Samithi won 88 seats, and KCR was sworn in as Chief Minister of Telangana for the second time on December 13, 2018.
